(a)(i) Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent; or
(ii) Level 2/Grade E or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
(b) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent;
(c) A minimum of two years' full-time clerical or secretarial working experience; and
(d) Good computer knowledge including proficiency of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Chinese and English Word-processing skills.
(Note: The subjects in (a) above may include Chinese Language and English Language)
(1) Applicants who are invited for selection interview are required to conduct a Chinese and English typing speed test on the interview date.
(2) “Attained with Distinction” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade C in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 3 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE. “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE.
(3)The subjects may include Chinese Language and English Language.
(4)‘Grade C’ and ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 3’ and ‘Level 2’ respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
(a) To be responsible for the daily management, house-keeping and maintenance of the three Community Centre/ Community Halls in Tsuen Wan;
(b) To report and liaise with works departments for repair and maintenance works for Airport Core Programme Exhibition Centre;
(c) To monitor progress of major maintenance work and refurbishment projects in all premises under Tsuen Wan District Office's purview;
(d) To assist in Information Technology support to the office as and when required; and
(e) Any other duties as assigned.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for one year.
Upon satisfactory completion of full contract, the appointee will be granted a gratuity for the period of service. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Scheme Ordinance, will equal to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. Rest days, statutory holidays (or
substituted holidays), annual leave, maternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.
(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(f) It is Government policy to place people with a disability in appropriate jobs wherever possible. If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written examination without being subject to any further shortlisting criteria.
(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications.
