$13,100 per month
(a) Attained five subjects at Level 2/Grade E or above in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE)/Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) [see Note 1] (including Chinese Language, English Language [see Note 2] and Mathematics);
(b) a minimum of two years’ full-time working experience in clerical, administration work, financial subsidy scheme administration or customer service work, with experience in the Government/public sector organization being an advantage;
(c) good command of both Chinese and English. Proficiency in Putonghua or other languages is an advantage [see Note 3];
(d) equipped with good computer knowledge; and
(e) good logical thinking, customer service and communication skills.
(1) “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language Subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE.
(2) ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 is accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 2’ in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
(3) Candidates are required to indicate in the section under “Professional Qualifications” on the application form [G.F.340 (Rev.3/2013)], which language(s) they are proficient to.
(a) To process applications for the Low-income Working Family Allowance (LIFA) Scheme;
(b) To handle public enquiries and complaints in relation to the LIFA Scheme;
(c) To provide counter service;
(d) To handle general clerical duties; and
(e) To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisors.
Note: The successful candidate(s) may be required to work irregular hours on shift and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Terms of Appointment:
The successful candidate(s) will be appointed on one-year non-civil service contract terms.
(a) An annual leave of 10 days whereas rest days, public holidays, maternity/paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance; and
(b) A gratuity will be granted if the contract is satisfactorily completed with a consistently high standard of performance and conduct. The gratuity, plus any contribution by the Government towards a mandatory provident fund as required by the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

In these circumstances, only shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend recruitment examination and/or interview.
(f) It is Government policy to place people with a disability in appropriate jobs wherever possible. If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written examination without being subject to any further shortlisting criteria.
(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. They should submit copies of their official transcripts and certificates by mail to the Enquiry Address.

The said form can also be downloadable from the Civil Service Bureau’s website (http://www.csb.gov.hk). Completed application form and a copy of academic/professional qualifications, relevant certificates and official transcripts of studies, should reach the Enquiry Address on or before the closing date.
