註:	(1) 申請人如只持有非本地專業資格，應提交所需證明文件，證明該等資格等同本地有關專業資格，例如提供證據，證明申請人的資格在截止申請日期之前，已獲香港工程師學會接納為正式會員(電機或機械界別)。 (2) 申請人如在取得資格後只具備少於三年的相關工作經驗也可申請此職位，唯薪酬會因應其所具備的相關工作經驗而作出調整。 (3) 政府在聘任時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙) C級及E級成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第3級和第2級成績。
職責:	主要負責污水處理廠和污水泵房的顧問管理、設計、規格擬定、工程計劃管理、工地監管，以及各種機電設備和裝置的操作和維修工作。 (註：獲聘用的申請人或需不定時、輪班及在偏遠地區工作)。
聘用條款:	獲取錄者會按非公務員合約條款受聘，為期12個月。
福利:	受聘人如在合約期內工作表現及行為持續良好，在合約圓滿結束後，可獲發約滿酬金。該筆約滿酬金，加上政府根據《強制性公積金計劃條例》的規定為受聘人向強制性公積金計劃所作的供款，會相等於受聘人在合約期內所得底薪總額的15%。受聘人可在符合《僱傭條例》規定的適當情況下，享有休息日、法定假日、公眾假期、年假、產假／侍產假、疾病津貼。

Entry Requirements:	This position is open to both male and female. Candidates should - (a) be a Corporate Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (Electrical or Mechanical Discipline) elected after 5 December 1975, or equivalent [Note (1)]; (b) have at least 3 years' relevant post-qualification working experience in electrical and mechanical project and contract management [Note (2)]; and (c) have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 [Note (3)] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent. Relevant experience in sewage treatment works and sewage pumping station projects is an advantage.
Note:	Note: (1) Applicants holding non-local professional qualifications only should prove the equivalency of such qualifications by the closing date for application, with supporting documents such as evidence of acceptance of their qualifications by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers for admission to its Corporate Membership (Electrical or Mechanical Discipline). (2) Candidates with less than three years of relevant post-qualification experience may also apply but the monthly salary will be adjusted downward accordingly to the actual years of relevant experience. (3) For appointment purpose, ‘Grade C’ and ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 3’ and ‘Level 2’ respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
Duties:	Mainly deployed on management of consultants, design, specification preparation, project management, site supervision, operation and maintenance of various types of electrical and mechanical equipment and installations for sewage treatment works and sewage pumping stations. (N.B: Successful candidates may be required to work irregular hours, shift and in remote areas.)
Terms of Appointment:	Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for a period of 12 months.
Fringe Benefits	Upon satisfactory completion of the full contract period with consistently high standard of performance and conduct, the appointee will be granted a gratuity for the period of service. Such gratuity, plus any contribution by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) Scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will equal to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. Rest days, statutory and general holidays, annual leave, maternity/paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions in the Employment Ordinance.
