註: (i)無論男女,均可應徵二級工人職位。(ii)如有需要,二級工人須接受部門內部或部門間的職位調派安排,以填補同一職系的職位空缺和擔任同一職系下不同種類的職務。(iii) 二級工人須在有需要時輪班工作及∕或逾時工作。(iv)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣,所有公務員職位的招聘,均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。獲邀參加遴選面試的申請人,本署會在面試中以口頭提問形式評核其對基本法的認識。除非兩位應徵者的整體表現相若,本署才會參考申請人在基本法知識測試中的表現。
職責: 二級工人的主要職責為(a)一般體力勞動工作,包括清潔、搬移家具和器材,裝卸及∕或包裝印刷品、大型物品和物料項目;(b)信差工作,包括在戶內∕外收集和派遞文件、物料及文具項目;(c)簡單的辦公室工作,包括操作影印機、傳真機、釘裝機,以及把文件分類及∕或釘裝;以及(d)一般行政支援工作,包括開啟和鎖上各出口、看守接待處、提供茶水服務,以及協助布置會議場地。
聘用條款: 獲取錄的申請人通常會按公務員試用條款受聘三年。通過試用關限後,或可獲考慮按當時適用的長期聘用條款聘用。
附註: (a)除另有指明外,申請人於獲聘時必須已成為香港特別行政區永久性居民。
(b)作為提供平等就業機會的僱主,政府致力消除在就業方面的歧視。所有符合基本入職條件的人士,不論其殘疾、性別、婚姻狀況、懷孕、年齡、家庭崗位、性傾向和種族,均可申請本欄內的職位。
(c)公務員職位是公務員編制內的職位。應徵者如獲聘用,將按公務員聘用條款和服務條件聘用,並成為公務員。
(d)入職薪酬、聘用條款及服務條件,應以獲聘時之規定為準。
(e)頂薪點的資料只供參考,該項資料日後或會作出更改。
(f)附帶福利包括有薪假期、醫療及牙科診療。在適當情況下,公務員更可獲得房屋資助。
(g)如果符合訂明入職條件的應徵者人數眾多,招聘部門可以訂立篩選準則,甄選條件較佳的應徵者,以便進一步處理。在此情況下,只有獲篩選的應徵者會獲邀參加技能測試╱面試。
(h)政府的政策,是盡可能安排殘疾人士擔任適合的職位。殘疾人士申請職位,如其符合入職條件,毋須再經篩選,便會獲邀參加技能測試╱面試。
(i)持有本港以外學府╱非香港考試及評核局頒授的學歷人士亦可申請,惟其學歷必須經過評審以確定是否與職位所要求的本地學歷水平相若。有關申請人須郵寄╱送交修業成績副本及證書副本到查詢地址。
(j)在臨近截止申請日期,接受網上申請的伺服器可能因為需要處理大量申請而非常繁忙。申請人應盡早遞交申請,以確保在限期前成功於網上完成申請程序。
申請手續: 申請表格[G.F.340 (3/2013修訂版)]可向民政事務總署各區民政事務處諮詢服務中心或勞工處就業科各就業中心索取。該表格也可從公務員事務局互聯網站(http://www.csb.gov.hk)下載。已填妥的申請書須在二零一五年二月十二日或之前送達香港北角渣華道333號北角政府合署9樓政府物流服務署聘任小組,信封面須清楚註明「申請二級工人職位」。申請人亦可在公務員事務局網站(http://www.csb.gov.hk)上遞交申請書。申請人須於申請書內詳列所取得的學歷及工作經驗。若以郵寄遞交申請,信封上的郵戳日期將視為申請日期。所有申請書,如資料不全、逾期遞交、以傳真或電郵方式遞交、並非使用指定的申請表格或並未妥為簽署,均不予考慮。

申請人如獲邀參加技能測試∕面試,通常會在截止申請日期後約十至十二個星期內收到通知。如遇到申請人數眾多或其他特殊情況,可能需時稍長。如申請人未獲邀參加技能測試∕面試,則可視作已經落選。

Job Title: Workman II
Salary: Model Scale 1 Pay Scale Point 0 (HK$11,055 per month) to Model Scale 1 Pay Scale Point 8 (HK$13,035 per month)
Entry Requirements: Candidates should have (a) completed Primary 6 education, or equivalent; and (b) attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Primary 6 standard. (Note : Candidates will be required to pass a trade test.)
Note: (i) The post of Workman II is open to both male and female. (ii) Workmen II are subject to posting and transfer within the department or in other bureaux/departments to fill vacancies and carry out different duties in the same grade when the need arises. (iii) Workmen II are required to work shifts and/or overtime as necessary. (iv) For the purpose of heightening public awareness of the Basic Law and promoting a culture of learning of Basic Law in the community, an assessment of Basic Law knowledge will be included in the recruitment for all civil service jobs. Candidates who are invited to attend an interview will be tested orally on their Basic Law knowledge during the interview. The results of Basic Law assessment will be taken into account only if two candidates are considered equal in all other aspects.
Duties: A Workman II is mainly deployed on (a) general manual labour work including cleansing, moving furniture and equipment, loading, unloading and/or packing printed matters, bulky stores and supplies items; (b) messengerial duties including indoor/outdoor collection and delivery of documents, stores and stationery items; (c) simple office work including operating photocopying machines, fax machines, binding machines, and sorting and/or binding documents; and (d) general administration support duties including opening and locking of exits, manning reception counters, provision of pantry services and assisting in the setting up of meeting venues.
Terms of Appointment: A new recruit will normally be appointed on civil service probationary terms for three years. Upon passage of probation bar, he/she may be considered for appointment on the prevailing permanent terms.
General Notes: (a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(h) It is Government policy to place people with a disability in appropriate jobs wherever possible. If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the trade test/interview without being subject to further shortlisting.

(i) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. They should submit copies of their official transcripts and certificates by post or by hand to the enquiry address.

(j)Towards the application deadline, our on-line system would likely be overloaded due to large volume of applications. To ensure timely completion of your on-line application, it is advisable to submit the application as early as possible.
How to apply: Application Forms [G.F. 340 (Rev. 3/2013)] are obtainable from any Public Enquiry Service Centres of District Offices, Home Affairs Department or any Job Centres of the Employment Services Division, Labour Department. The said form can also be downloaded from the Civil Service Bureau’s website (http://www.csb.gov.hk). Completed application forms should reach the Appointment Unit of Government Logistics Department, 9/F, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong not later than 12 February 2015, with the envelopes clearly marked “Application for the post of Workman II”. On-line application can also be made through the Civil Service Bureau’s website (http://www.csb.gov.hk). Applicants should state in detail in the application forms their academic qualifications attained and working experience. If the application is submitted by post, the postmark date on the envelope will be regarded as the date of the application. Applications which are incomplete, late, submitted by fax or email, not made in the prescribed form, or not duly signed will not be considered.

Candidates who are selected for trade test/interview will normally receive an invitation in about ten to twelve weeks from the closing date for application. This period may be longer in exceptional circumstances, e.g. when a large number of applications are received or when there are other complications. Those who do not receive an invitation may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
