(a) Candidates should have attained Secondary 5, or equivalent; and (b) Candidates should have knowledge in the application of common business software. Note 1: Candidates who are invited for interview will be invited to participate in a Chinese and English word processing speed test before the interview. Candidates who attain Chinese word processing speed of 20 words per minute and English word processing speed of 30 words per minute will have an advantage. Note 2: Where a large number of candidates meet the specified entry requirements, shortlisting criteria will be applied to select the better qualified candidates for further processing. Under these circumstances, only shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend the interview.
(a) To assist in voter registration, the preparation and conduct of general elections; (b) To handle public telephone enquiries and complaints and inputting data; (c) To undertake general duties and provide office and warehouse support; (d) To perform manual work and any other related support as and when required; and (e) To perform outdoor work as required. Note: May be required to work overtime and work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidate will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for around 12 months.
8 days of annual leave, full pay sickness allowance and maternity leave whereas rest days and statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance. An end-of-contract gratuity may be granted if the contract is satisfactorily completed with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity payable for the contract will be the sum which, when added to the Government's contribution to the MPF scheme, equals to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the period of contract.

(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications.
