Education level at Primary 6 or above or equivalent
Part-time job: irregular working hours including on day time and at night time of weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holiday. Overnight work might be required. Successful candidates are also required to work outdoors.
(a) To provide logistics support in enforcement/pre-enforcement operations to ensure compliance with the compulsory testing notices (“CTN”) / restricted-testing declaration (“RTD”) by residents/persons concerned by performing tasks including but not limited to the following -
(i) To assist in crowd control;
(ii) To man registration counter at mobile specimen collection station or community testing centre;
(iii) To register address and personal information as well as perform data input;
(iv) To give out wristbands, and distribute masks and other items to residents after registration; and/or
(v) To provide translation support for ethnic minorities who speak Nepali, Urdu, Hindi and other languages.
(b) To man registration desk set up at building entrances.
(c) To perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisors.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service (Part-time) contract terms for a period of six months.
Unless one of the exemptions specified in the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) Scheme Ordinance (Cap. 485) is applicable to the successful candidate, the Government will arrange to make contributions for the candidate to a registered MPF scheme. Other benefits such as rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), maternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions in the Employment Ordinance when applicable.
(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(e) Where a large number of candidates meet the specified entry requirements, the recruiting department may devise shortlisting criteria to select the better qualified candidates for further processing. In these circumstances, only shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend recruitment examination and/or interview.
(f) It is Government policy to place people with a disability in appropriate jobs wherever possible. If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written examination without being subject to any further shortlisting criteria. Applicants who have declared disabilities found suitable for appointment may be given an appropriate degree of preference over other applicants whose suitability for appointment is considered comparable to that of the former. (g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. (b) Completed forms, together with photocopies of academic result/certificates and employment proofs (e.g. employment certificates, reference letters, etc.) should reach the enquiry address below in person or by post on/before the closing date for application. For submission in person, the application should reach the enquiry address below by 5:00 p.m.on the closing date. For submission by post, the deadline is based on the stamp chop date. The envelope should be clearly marked as "Application for the post of part-time NCSC Operation Assistant (CTN/RTD)"
(c) Late applications or applications which are incomplete or without the relevant supporting documents will not be considered.
(d) Candidates who are selected for interview will normally receive an invitation by phone in about six to eight weeks from the closing date for application. Those who are not invited for interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
