(a) at least two years’ full-time relevant experience in land / engineering survey; and
(b) attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Primary 6 standard.
(a) To assist in carrying out 3D laser scanning survey work of monuments / graded historic buildings and structures.
(b) To carry out simple site inspection, record and report the result of inspection; and to use transceiver to communicate with other survey staff during 3D laser scanning survey field work to ensure the smooth and proper delivery of the work.
(c) To be responsible for the transport, delivery and security of survey equipment and accessories before and during 3D laser scanning survey field work; and be responsible to return the survey equipment and accessories to the equipment room after the completion of 3D laser scanning survey work.
(d) To keep the equipment room and equipment clean and tidy; and to carry out simple repair and maintenance work of survey equipment and accessories.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful applicants will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for one year.
An end-of-contract gratuity may be granted to the appointee upon satisfactory completion of the contract with a consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity plus the Government’s contribution to the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will equal to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. Rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), annual leave, maternity leave / paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.

(f) It is Government policy to place people with a disability in appropriate jobs wherever possible. If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written examination without being subject to any further shortlisting criteria.
(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications.
