入職條件: 申請人必須:
(a) 持有香港頒授的小學教育學士學位,或同等學歷;以及
(b) 符合語文能力要求,即在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷取得「二級」成績(該兩張試卷分別為中文運用及英文運用),或具備同等成績。[參閱註(1)至(4)]

申請人須具責任感、積極進取和熱心工作;品格良好、為人正直;有志於教育服務;以及能以中、英文有效溝通。

持有香港以外學術機構所頒授學歷的申請人,請隨申請書夾附有關學術機構所簽發的文憑/證書、成績單及列明有關課程的授課形式(例如全日制/兼讀制、在當地院校上課/遙距授課等)的證明文件副本。申請人也應盡可能提供所有其他有關的學歷證明文件副本,以便進行學歷評審。至於持有本地學歷的申請人,亦須付上列明其修讀學位及師資培訓(如適用)課程時主修及副修科目的證明文件副本。
註: (1) 綜合招聘考試的中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」,並以「二級」為最高等級。

(2) 香港中學文憑考試中國語文科第5級或以上成績;或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科「C」級或以上的成績會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」成績。香港中學文憑考試英國語文科第5級或以上成績;或香港高級程度會考英語運用科或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) (GCE A Level)English Language科「C」級或以上的成績則會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。

(3) 申請人若現時並沒有所需綜合招聘考試成績,或同等成績,但已報名參加在二零一五年十月三日在香港舉行的綜合招聘考試也可申請,其申請只會在他們於上述考試取得所需成績後方獲處理。

(4) 在International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上,並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績的人士,在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內,會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。有關考試成績必須在職位接受申請期內其中任何一日有效。

(5) 為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知,以及在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣,所有公務員職位的招聘均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。申請人在《基本法》測試(學位/專業程度職系)的成績會佔其整體表現的一個適當比重。然而,該測試的成績並不會影響其申請以上職位的資格。原則上,申請人的學歷、經驗和才能仍然是考慮其是否適合獲聘用的主要因素。
職責: 助理小學學位教師主要負責以下職務:
(a) 在官立小學任教高年級班別;以及
(b) 擔當領導角色,在官立小學積極推動落實各項教育新措施。

[備註:本局會根據官立小學不時調整的運作需要,以及獲取錄人員的學歷和經驗,調派他們任教指定科目。他們或須任教並非其在申請書內指明的科目。]
聘用條款: 獲取錄的申請人會按公務員試用條款受聘三年。通過試用關限後,可獲考慮按當時適用的長期聘用條款聘用。
附註: (a) 除另有指明外,申請人於獲聘時必須已成為香港特別行政區永久性居民。
(b) 有關頂薪點的資料只供參考,日後或會有所更改。
(c) 獲取錄人員如未持有由香港專上教育機構頒授的教育證書或同等學歷,須受薪酬關限限制。持有由香港專上教育機構頒授的教育證書或同等學歷者,其入職薪級為總薪級表第17點。
(d) 作為提供平等就業機會的僱主,政府致力消除在就業方面的歧視。所有符合基本入職條件的人士,不論其殘疾、性別、婚姻狀況、懷孕、年齡、家庭崗位、性傾向和種族,均可申請本欄內的職位。
(e) 如果符合訂明入職條件的應徵者人數眾多,教育局可以訂立篩選準則,甄選條件較佳的應徵者,以便進一步處理。在此情況下,只有獲篩選的應徵者會獲邀參加遴選面試。
(f) 政府的政策,是盡可能安排殘疾人士擔任適合的職位。殘疾人士申請職位,如符合入職條件,毋須再經篩選,便會獲邀參加遴選面試。
(g) 已參加資助或官立學校教師提早退休計劃者,其應徵助理小學學位教師職位的申請將不獲受理。
(h) 公務員職位是公務員編制內的職位。應徵者如獲聘用,將按公務員聘用條款和服務條件聘用,並成為公務員。
(i) 入職薪酬、聘用條款及服務條件,應以獲聘時的規定為準。
(j) 附帶福利包括有薪假期、醫療及牙科福利。在適當情況下,公務員更可獲得房屋資助。
(k) 截止申請日期臨近時,網上申請系統可能需要處理大量申請而非常繁忙。申請人應盡早遞交申請,以確保在限期前於網上完成申請程序。
(l) 教育局會嚴格按照其個人資料政策使用應徵者所提供的個人資料,並會按要求立即提供有關資料的複本。
申請手續: I. 以郵寄方式或親身遞交申請
申請表格[G.F. 340 (3/2013 修訂版)]可向民政事務總署各區民政事務處諮詢服務中心或勞工處就業科各就業中心索取。該表格也可從公務員事務局互聯網站(http://www.csb.gov.hk)下載。

申請人須隨申請書夾附指定補充資料表格,詳述其教學工作經驗,該指定補充資料表格可於教育局網頁(http://www.edb.gov.hk/tc/about-edb/info/recruitment/index.html)下載。填妥的申請書,連同用以證明各項相關學歷[例如學位、師資培訓(如適用)、語文能力水平、綜合招聘考試和教師語文能力評核成績]的證書及成績單的影印本,以及填妥的指定補充資料表格,須於截止申請日期或之前送達下述查詢地址。如以郵寄方式提交申請,信封上郵戳所示的日期不可在二零一五年十月九日之後。

申請人須在申請書上清楚註明所申請的科目(例如「助理小學學位教師(視覺藝術)」),以及修讀學位課程及師資培訓(如適用)時主修及副修的科目。有意應徵超過一個科目的申請人,須就所申請的科目逐一提交申請。所有申請人須在信封面註明「應徵助理小學學位教師職位」。

II. 在網上遞交申請
申請人亦可透過公務員事務局互聯網站(http://www.csb.gov.hk)作網上申請。申請人如在網上遞交申請,必須於截止申請日期後的一星期內,把用以證明各項相關學歷[例如學位、師資培訓(如適用)、語文能力水平及綜合招聘考試成績]的證書及成績單的影印本寄交下述查詢地址。信封面及證明文件副本上須註明網上申請編號。

若申請書並非以指定的表格[G.F.340(3/2013修訂版)]填寫,以傳真或電郵方式提交、逾期提交、未填妥資料或沒有夾附所需指定補充資料表格及證明文件副本的申請書,概不受理。

申請人如獲選參加面試,會在二零一五年十二月或之前接獲通知。申請人如不獲邀參加面試,可視作落選論。

Job Title: Assistant Primary School Master/Mistress (Visual Arts)
Salary: Master Pay Scale Point 15 (HK$26,785 per month) to Master Pay Scale Point 29 (HK51,805 per month). [See General Notes (b) and (c)]
Entry Requirements: Candidates should have -
(a) a Hong Kong Bachelor of Education degree in primary education, or equivalent; and
(b) met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 2' results in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [See Notes (1) to (4)].

Candidates should be responsible, self-motivated and enthusiastic; have a fine character and integrity; be committed to serving in the education field; and be able to communicate effectively in Chinese and English.

For applicants holding qualifications obtained from academic institutions outside Hong Kong, please attach to their application copies of diplomas/certificates, transcripts of studies and official documents issued by the relevant academic institutions that state the mode of delivery (e.g. full time/part time, on campus/distance learning, etc.) of the study programmes. To facilitate the assessment of the qualifications, applicants should provide the above documents for all other relevant qualifications obtained as far as possible. For applicants holding local qualifications, please also attach copies of the documents stating the major and minor subjects studied in their degree and teacher training (as appropriate) courses.
Note: (1) The results of the Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE) papers in the CRE are classified as 'Level 2', 'Level 1' or 'Fail', with 'Level 2' being the highest.

(2) Level 5 or above in Chinese Language of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE); or Grade 'C' or above in Chinese Language and Culture or Chinese Language and Literature of the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) are accepted as equivalent to 'Level 2' in the UC paper of the CRE. Level 5 or above in English Language of the HKDSEE; or Grade 'C' or above in Use of English of the HKALE; or Grade C or above in English Language of the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) (GCE A Level), are accepted as equivalent to 'Level 2' in the UE paper of the CRE.

(3) Applicants who do not possess the requisite CRE results, or equivalent, but have filed an application for the coming CRE to be held on 3 October 2015 in Hong Kong may also apply. Their applications will be processed subject to their obtaining the requisite CRE results in the aforesaid examination.

(4) Applicants with an overall band of 6.5 or above with no subtest score below band 6 obtained in the same sitting in the Academic Module of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) within the two-year validity period of the test result are accepted as equivalent to 'Level 2' result in the UE paper of the CRE. The IELTS test result must be valid on any date during the application period.

(5) For the purpose of heightening public awareness of the Basic Law (BL) and promoting a culture of learning of the BL in the community, assessment of BL knowledge will be included in the recruitment for all civil service jobs. Results of the BL test for degree/professional grades will constitute an appropriate weighting in a candidate's overall assessment. However, the result will not affect a candidate's eligibility for applying for the above posts. As a general principle, the main consideration for suitability for appointment remains a candidate's qualifications, experience and calibre.
Duties: Assistant Primary School Masters/Mistresses are mainly deployed on the following types of duties –
(a) to teach senior classes in government primary schools; and
(b) to play an active and leading role in implementing the new education initiatives in government primary schools.

[Remarks : The Bureau, in deploying a successful candidate to a particular subject, will take into account the operational needs of government primary schools that may be adjusted from time to time, having regard to the candidate's qualification and experience. A successful candidate may be required to teach subjects other than those he/she has indicated in his/her application.]
Terms of Appointment: A new appointee will be appointed on civil service probationary terms for three years. Upon passage of probation bar, he/she may be considered for appointment on the prevailing permanent terms.
General Notes: (a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.
(b) The information on the maximum pay point is for reference only and may be subject to changes.
(c) There is a salary bar for officers without a certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary education institution or equivalent. Officers with a certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary education institution, or equivalent, will enter at MPS Point 17.
(d) As an Equal Opportunities Employer, the Government is committed to eliminating discrimination in employment. (g) Those who have participated in the Early Retirement Scheme for aided or government school teachers will not be considered for appointment to the Assistant Primary School Master/Mistress post.
(h) Civil service vacancies are posts on the civil service establishment. Candidates selected for these vacancies will be appointed on civil service terms of appointment and conditions of service and will become civil servants on appointment.
(i) The entry pay, terms of appointment and conditions of service to be offered are subject to the provisions prevailing at the time the offer of appointment is made.
(j) Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical and dental benefits, and where appropriate, assistance in housing.
(k) Towards the application deadline, our on-line system would likely be overloaded due to large volume of applications. To ensure timely completion of their on-line applications, applicants are advised to submit their applications as early as possible.

Applicants should attach to their application a detailed account of their working experience in teaching in a Prescribed Supplementary Information Sheet which can be downloaded from the Education Bureau webpage at http://www.edb.gov.hk/en/about-edb/info/recruitment/index.html. Completed application forms, together with photocopies of certificates and transcripts stating the major and minor subjects studied in support of all relevant qualifications attained [e.g. degree, teacher training (as appropriate), language proficiency level, CRE and LPAT results] as well as the completed Prescribed Supplementary Information Sheet, should reach the following enquiry address on or before the closing date for application. For applications by post, the date of the postmark should not be after 9 October 2015.

Applicants should state clearly on their application form the subject they apply for, e.g. "ASSISTANT PRIMARY SCHOOL MASTER/MISTRESS (VISUAL ARTS)" and also the major and minor subjects studied in their degree and teacher training (as appropriate) courses. Candidates who wish to be considered for more than one subjects should submit separate applications for the subjects. All applicants should state "Application for the post of Assistant Primary School Master/Mistress" on the envelope.

II. On-line Application
On-line applications can also be made through Civil Service Bureau's website (http://www.csb.gov.hk). Candidates who apply on-line should submit photocopies of certificates and transcripts in support of all relevant qualifications attained [e.g. degree, teacher training (as appropriate), language proficiency level and CRE results] as well as the completed Prescribed Supplementary Information Sheet within one week after close of application period to the following enquiry address. The on-line application number should be quoted on the envelope and the copies of supporting documents.

Applications which are not made in the prescribed form [G.F.340 (Rev. 3/2013)], or submitted by fax or e-mail, or applications which are late, not properly completed or without copies of the above required Prescribed Supplementary Information Sheet and supporting documents will NOT be considered.

Candidates who are selected for interview will receive an invitation by December 2015. Those who are not invited for interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
