(b) 符合語文能力要求,即在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷(中文運用及英文運用)中取得「二級」成績,或具備同等成績[參閱註(1)至(3)];以及
(c) 在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績 [參閱註(4)至(5)]。

[備註: 上述入職條件適用於在二零零四/零五學年或其後聘用的中國語文科教師。如申請人是在二零零四/零五學年前已在本地公營學校及提供全面課程的私立日間小學任教的中文科常額教師,則只須持有香港頒授的小學教育學士學位,或具備同等學歷。此外,所有申請人一律須符合上文(b)及(c)點的規定。]

預計將於截止申請日期至二零二三年夏季期間取得小學教育學士學位及/或在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷中取得「二級」成績,或具備同等學歷或成績,以符合上文(a)及(b)點的入職條件的人士,亦可遞交申請。申請人須在申請書及指定補充資料表格上清楚註明將會獲取的相關學歷或資格和預計獲取日期,並須在本局訂定的限期前提交相關文件,例如證明信函、證書及成績單等,以證明其在上述期間取得所需學歷或資格以及符合入職條件,否則本局將不再處理其申請。

申請人必須具責任感、積極進取和熱心工作;品格良好、為人正直;有志於教育服務;以及能以中、英文有效溝通。
註: (1) 綜合招聘考試的中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」,並以「二級」為最高等級。

(2) 香港中學文憑考試中國語文科「第5級」或以上成績;或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科「C」級或以上的成績,會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」成績。香港中學文憑考試英國語文科「第5級」或以上成績;或香港高級程度會考英語運用科或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) (GCE A Level)English Language科「C」級或以上的成績,會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。

(3) 在International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上,並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績的人士,在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內,會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。有關考試成績必須在職位接受申請期內其中任何一日有效。

(4) 政府會測試所有應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》及《香港國安法》知識。在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績是所有公務員職位的入職條件。申請人必須在《基本法及香港國安法》測試中取得及格成績方會獲考慮聘用。

(5) 如申請人在申請公務員職位時仍未曾參加相關的《基本法及香港國安法》測試或未曾在相關的《基本法及香港國安法》測試考獲及格成績,仍可作出申請。他們會被安排在招聘過程中參加相關《基本法及香港國安法》測試。

(6) 持有香港以外學術機構所頒授學歷的申請人,須隨申請書夾附有關學術機構所簽發的文憑/證書、成績單及列明有關課程的授課形式(例如全日制/兼讀制、在當地院校上課/遙距授課等)的證明文件副本。申請人也應盡可能提供所有其他有關的學歷證明文件副本,以便進行學歷評審的工作。持有本地學歷的申請人,則須夾附列明其修讀學位及師資培訓(如適用)課程時主修及副修科目的證明文件副本。

(7) 為廣周知,經本地評審的學士學位屬資歷架構第5級別。雖然資歷架構第5級別亦涵蓋其他資歷,但就是次招聘而言,只會接納相關科目的學士學位資歷。有關資歷架構的詳情,可瀏覽資歷架構網站(www.hkqf.gov.hk) 或致電3793 3955查詢。

(8) 申請人如獲邀參加面試,會在二零二二年十二月底或之前接獲郵寄/電郵通知。如有需要,本局會以電郵形式要求申請人提供補充資料。請確保已填寫正確的郵寄及電郵地址。由於核實申請人的資格需時,申請人即使獲邀參加面試,並不表示已符合助理小學學位教師職位的入職條件。申請人如未獲邀參加面試,可視作落選論。
職責: 助理小學學位教師主要負責在官立小學執行教學職務,並協助落實各項教育政策及措施。

[備註: 本局會根據官立小學不時調整的運作需要,以及獲取錄人員的學歷和經驗,調派他們任教指定科目(包括須用中文及英文語言任教)。他們或須任教並非其在申請書內指明的科目,而調派往任教的學校亦由本局按運作需要安排。]
聘用條款: 獲取錄的申請人會按公務員試用條款受聘三年。通過試用關限後,可獲考慮按當時適用的長期聘用條款聘用。[參閱附註(i)至(k)]
附註: (a) 假如新入職員工成功通過試用或合約期而其後轉為按新長期聘用條款受聘,他/她便符合資格參加公務員公積金計劃(公積金計劃)。政府對公積金計劃作出的供款,包括強制性及自願性供款,按累進供款率計算,供款率為合資格員工實任職級基本薪金的5%至25%,按員工按公務員條款受聘並完成的無間斷服務年期遞增。一般而言,當合資格員工完成三年的無間斷服務年期並轉為按新長期聘用條款受聘及加入公積金計劃時,上述的政府供款率為15%。有關公積金計劃的詳情,可瀏覽公務員事務局網站(www.csb.gov.hk)。
(b) 除另有指明外,申請人於獲聘時必須已成為香港特別行政區永久性居民。
(c) 頂薪點只供參考,有關的資料日後或會更改。
(d) 獲取錄人員如未持有由香港專上教育機構頒授的教育證書,或具備同等學歷,須受薪酬關限限制。持有由香港專上教育機構頒授的教育證書,或具備同等學歷者,其入職薪級為總薪級表第17點。
(e) 作為提供平等就業機會的僱主,政府致力消除在就業方面的歧視。所有符合基本入職條件的人士,不論其殘疾、性別、婚姻狀況、懷孕、年齡、家庭崗位、性傾向和種族,均可申請本廣告內的職位。
(f) 如果符合訂明入職條件的申請人人數眾多,教育局可以訂立篩選準則,甄選條件較佳的申請人,以便進一步處理。在此情況下,只有獲篩選的申請人會獲邀參加面試。

(h) 已參加資助或官立學校教師提早退休計劃者,其助理小學學位教師職位的申請將不獲受理。
(i) 公務員職位是公務員編制內的職位。申請人如獲聘用,將按公務員聘用條款和服務條件聘用,並成為公務員。
(j) 入職薪酬、聘用條款及服務條件應以獲聘時的規定為準。
(k) 附帶福利包括有薪假期、醫療及牙科福利。在適當情況下,更可獲得房屋資助。
(l) 截止申請日期臨近時,網上申請系統可能需要處理大量申請而非常繁忙。申請人應盡早遞交申請,以確保在限期前於網上完成申請程序。

Job Title: Assistant Primary School Master/Mistress (Chinese Language)
Salary: Master Pay Scale Point 15 (HK$32,545 per month) to Master Pay Scale Point 29 (HK62,950 per month) [See General Notes (c) and (d)].
Entry Requirements: Candidates should have -
(a) a Hong Kong Bachelor of Education degree in primary education majoring in Chinese Language, or equivalent [See Note (7)];
(b) met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 2' results in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [See Notes (1) to (3)]; and
(c) a pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test (BLNST) [See Notes (4) to (5)].

[Remarks: The entry requirements set out above are applicable to Chinese Language teachers appointed in or after the 2004/05 school year. For serving Chinese Language teachers holding a permanent post in local public sector and private primary day schools which offered a full curriculum before the 2004/05 school year, they should have a Hong Kong Bachelor of Education degree in primary education, or equivalent. All candidates are subject to (b) and (c) above.]

Potential applicants who are expected to obtain a Hong Kong Bachelor of Education degree in primary education and/or 'Level 2' results in the two language papers in CRE, or equivalent, to meet the entry requirements set out in (a) and (b) above in the period from the closing date for application up to the summer of 2023 may also apply. These applicants are required to clearly state the expected date of obtaining the said qualification(s) in the application form and the prescribed Supplementary Information Form (SIF), and to provide documentary evidence such as letters, certificates and transcripts to prove that they have obtained the requisite qualification(s) and met the entry requirements in the aforementioned period by the deadline to be determined by the Education Bureau. Applicants who fail to provide the necessary information as required will not be considered further.

Candidates should be responsible, self-motivated and enthusiastic; have a fine character and integrity; be committed to serving in the education field; and be able to communicate effectively in Chinese and English.
Note: (1) The results of the Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE) papers in the CRE are classified as 'Level 2', 'Level 1' or 'Fail', with 'Level 2' being the highest.

(2) 'Level 5' or above in Chinese Language of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE); or Grade 'C' or above in Chinese Language and Culture or Chinese Language and Literature of the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) are accepted as equivalent to 'Level 2' in the UC paper of the CRE. 'Level 5' or above in English Language of the HKDSEE; or Grade 'C' or above in Use of English of the HKALE; or Grade 'C' or above in English Language of the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) (GCE A Level), are accepted as equivalent to 'Level 2' in the UE paper of the CRE.

(3) Candidate with an overall band of 6.5 or above with no subtest score below band 6 obtained in the same sitting in the Academic Module of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) within the two-year validity period of the test result is accepted as equivalent to 'Level 2' in the UE paper of the CRE. The IELTS test result must be valid on any date during the application period.

(4) All applicants for civil service jobs will be assessed on their knowledge of the Basic Law and the National Security Law. A pass result in the BLNST is an entry requirement for all civil service jobs. Only those candidates who have passed the BLNST will be considered for appointment.

(5) For candidates who have not taken the relevant BLNST or have not attained a pass result in the relevant BLNST at the time of application, they may still apply for the job and arrangements will be made for them to take the relevant BLNST during the recruitment process.

(6) Candidates holding qualifications obtained from academic institutions outside Hong Kong should attach to their applications copies of diplomas/certificates, transcripts of studies and official documents issued by the relevant academic institutions stating the mode of delivery (e.g. full time/part time, on campus/distance learning, etc.) of the study programmes. To facilitate the assessment of the qualifications, candidates should provide the above documents for all other relevant qualifications obtained as far as possible. Candidates holding local qualifications should attach copies of the documents stating the major and minor subjects studied in their degree and teacher training (as appropriate) courses.

(7) For general awareness, a locally-accredited Hong Kong bachelor's degree is at Level 5 under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF). While there are other qualifications under HKQF Level 5, for the purpose of this recruitment exercise, only bachelor's degree in the relevant subjects is acceptable. Further information on HKQF may be accessed on HKQF's website (www.hkqf.gov.hk) or by phone (3793 3955).

(8) Candidates who are selected for interview will receive an invitation by post/email by end of December 2022. If necessary, this Bureau may request the candidates to provide supplementary information by email. Please ensure that the mailing and email addresses provided are correct. As it takes time to verify candidates' qualifications, an invitation to the interview does not imply that the candidate's qualifications meet the entry requirements of the Assistant Primary School Masters/Mistresses posts. Those who are not invited for interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
Duties: Assistant Primary School Masters/Mistresses are mainly deployed on teaching duties and assisting in the implementation of education policies and initiatives in government primary schools.

[Remarks: The Education Bureau, in deploying a successful candidate to a particular subject (including teaching by means of Chinese and English), will take into account the operational needs of government primary schools that may be adjusted from time to time, having regard to the candidate's qualification and experience. A successful candidate may be required to teach subjects other than those he/she has indicated in his/her application, and the deployment to school will be arranged by the Education Bureau based on the operational needs.]
Terms of Appointment: A new recruit will be appointed on civil service probationary terms for three years. Upon passage of probation bar, he/she may be considered for appointment on the prevailing permanent terms. [See General Notes (i) to (k)]
General Notes: (a) If a new recruit progresses onto new permanent terms upon satisfactory completion of the probationary/agreement period, he/she will be eligible to join the Civil Service Provident Fund (CSPF) Scheme. The Government's contributions under the CSPF Scheme, including mandatory and voluntary contributions, follow a progressive contribution rates schedule ranging from 5% to 25% of the basic salary of an eligible officer at his/her substantive rank, depending on his/her completed years of continuous service on civil service terms. In general, the above-mentioned Government's contribution rate is 15% at the time when an eligible officer who has completed three years of continuous service progresses onto new permanent terms and joins the CSPF Scheme. Further information on the CSPF Scheme may be accessed on CSB's website (www.csb.gov.hk).
(b) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.
(c) The information on the maximum pay point is for reference only and it may be subject to changes.
(d) There is a salary bar for officers without a certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary education institution, or equivalent. Officers with a certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary education institution, or equivalent, will enter at MPS Point 17.

(h) Those who have participated in the Early Retirement Scheme for aided or government school teachers will not be considered for appointment to the Assistant Primary School Master/Mistress post.
(i) Civil service vacancies are posts on the civil service establishment. Candidates selected for these vacancies will be appointed on civil service terms of appointment and conditions of service and will become civil servants on appointment.
(j) The entry pay, terms of appointment and conditions of service to be offered are subject to the provisions prevailing at the time the offer of appointment is made.
(k) Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical and dental benefits, and where appropriate, assistance in housing.
(l) Towards the application deadline, our on-line system would likely be overloaded due to large volume of applications. To ensure timely completion of your on-line applications, it is advisable to submit the applications as early as possible.

Candidates should attach to their application a detailed account of their working experience in teaching, education and relevant information in the prescribed SIF which can be downloaded from the Education Bureau webpage at http://www.edb.gov.hk/en/about-edb/info/recruitment/index.html. Completed application forms and SIF, together with copies of diplomas/certificates and transcripts stating the major and minor subjects studied in support of all relevant qualifications attained [e.g. degree, teacher training (as appropriate), language proficiency level, BLNST and CRE results], should reach the following enquiry address on or before 19 August 2022. Please do not send in any originals of supporting documents. For applications by post, the date of the postmark should not be after 19 August 2022. To avoid delayed or unsuccessful delivery of applications by post, please ensure that the correct address is clearly printed or written on the envelope and sufficient postage has been affixed before posting. Mail items bearing insufficient postage will not be delivered to this Bureau and will be returned to the sender or disposed of by the Hongkong Post, where appropriate. Candidates who apply on-line should submit copies of their diplomas/certificates, transcript and the prescribed SIF by post or by hand on or before 26 August 2022 to the following enquiry address.
