(a) 持有本港頒授的學士學位,或具同等學歷,持有中文、英文、翻譯、公共行政、公共管理或人力資源管理的學位更佳(註1);
(b) 符合語文能力的要求,即在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷(中文運用及英文運用)中取得二級成績,或具同等成績(註2);以及
(c) 取得有關學歷後,具備一年審計及規範、秘書工作、人事資源管理、系統管理、財務管理、活動統籌、公共行政、辦公室行政事務等範疇的全職工作經驗(註3)。

其他條件:
申請人須 -
(a) 具備良好的電腦MS Office應用技巧,包括Word、Excel和PowerPoint;以及
(b) 能操流利粵語及英語,並掌握良好的溝通技巧。
註: (1) 見下列附註(g)。
(2) (i) 綜合招聘考試中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為二級、一級或不及格,並以二級為最高等級。(ii) 香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科C級或以上成績會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的二級成績。香港高級程度會考英語運用科或普通教育文憑高級程度(GCE A Level)英國語文科C級或以上成績會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的二級成績。(iii) 在國際英語水平測試 (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上,並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的人士,在考試成績的兩年有效期內,其IELTS成績可獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的二級成績。IELTS考試成績必須在職位開始接受申請的首天(即2015年5月4日)仍然有效。
(3) 申請人須遞交(a)修業成績副本;(b)畢業證書副本;以及(c)有關的工作經驗證明文件副本。
職責: 行政助理的主要職責包括協助 -
(a) 辦公室的行政工作,包括處理各項文件及記錄、維持有效的檔案系統、制訂人手需要、編寫報告、制訂預算等;
(b) 擔任有關的委員會或工作小組秘書工作,並協助預備會議文件及統籌相關的事宜;
(c) 處理人事資源管理事宜;
(d) 發展和管理電腦系統/數據庫的運作;
(e) 舉辦和促進健康教育活動;以及
(f) 督導初級員工。
聘用條款: 成功的申請人將按非公務員合約條款聘任,合約期至2016年3月31日;續約與否視乎屆時本部門的服務需要及受聘人的工作表現而定。
福利: 受聘人可享有10天有薪年假及其他《僱傭條例》(香港法例第57章)規定而又適用的福利,例如休息日、法定假期(或代替假日)、產假/侍產假及疾病津貼。
附註: (a) 除另有指明外,申請人於獲聘時必須已成為香港特別行政區永久性居民。

Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Salary: $15,895 per month
Entry Requirements: Candidates should have -
(a) a bachelor degree, preferably in the fields of Chinese Language, English Language, Translation, Public Administration, Public Management or Human Resource Management, from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent (Note 1);
(b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) or equivalent (Note 2); and
(c) one year of full-time post-qualification work experience in the areas of auditing and compliance, secretarial support, human resources management, systems management, financial management, event management, public administration, office administration, etc. (Note 3).

Other Requirements:
Candidates should also be -
(a) familiar with computer skills in the application of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and
(b) able to speak fluent Cantonese and English with effective communication skills.
Note: (1) See General Note (g) below.
(2) (i) Candidates' results in the Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE) papers of the CRE are classified as Level 2, Level 1 or Fail, with Level 2 being the highest. (ii) Grade C or above in Chinese Language and Culture or Chinese Language and Literature of the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) is accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the UC paper of the CRE. Grade C or above in Use of English of the HKALE or in English Language of the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) (GCE A Level) is accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the UE paper of the CRE. (iii) Candidates with an overall band of 6.5 or above with no subtest score below band 6 obtained in the same sitting in the Academic Module of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) within the two-year validity period of the test is accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the UE paper of the CRE. The IELTS test result must be valid on the starting day of the application period, i.e. 4 May 2015.
(3) Candidates should submit a copy of (a) academic transcripts; (b) graduation certificates; and (c) supporting documents of relevant work experience.
Duties: An Administrative Assistant mainly assists in -
(a) general administration and renovation work of the office, including handling all aspects of correspondence and documentation, maintaining an effective filing system, working out manpower requirements, and preparing reports and budgets, etc.;
(b) serving as secretary and preparing discussion paper of committees or working groups, coordination work and making logistic arrangement of various meetings;
(c) handling human resources management matters;
(d) systems/ database development and management;
(e) organising and promoting public health programmes; and
(f) supervision of junior staff.
Terms of Appointment: Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms up to 31 March 2016. Renewal of contract will be subject to the service need of the Department and the performance of the candidate.
Fringe Benefits Candidates appointed are eligible for 10 days' paid annual leave. Other benefits such as rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), maternity/ paternity leave and sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the Employment Ordinance (Cap. 57).
General Notes: (a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/ Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. They should submit copies of their official transcripts and certificates by mail to the enquiry address indicated below.
(h) The period of notification of recruitment examination and/ or interview may be longer when a large number of applications are received or when there are other complications requiring a longer processing time for the applications.
