d) 具五年或以上有關駕駛車輛之全職工作經驗，當中宜包括私家小型巴士及中型貨車 (需具備有關工作經驗的證明正本)；
a) Completed Secondary 3, or equivalent; capable of reading and writing simple Chinese and English;
b) Applicants are required to pass a fitness test of lifting a mail bag from one place to another;
c) With valid driving licenses for private car (code 1), light goods vehicle (code 2), private light bus (code 4) and medium goods vehicle (code 18);
d) At least 5 years of full-time working experience in driving field, preferably to have experience in driving private light bus and medium goods vehicles (Documentary proof of relevant experience is required);
e) Familiar with the roads and streets of Hong Kong districts;
f) Experience of operating tail board is preferred; and
g) Only the recommended applicants who can pass the driving test conducted by the Government Logistics Department and get the Government Driving Permit (G.F.8) will be employed.
a) To drive postal vehicles (incl. 5.5-16 tons medium-goods vehicles) for collection & dispatch of mail items;
b) To load & unload mail items, incl. operation of tail board of postal vehicles;
c) To clean postal vehicles, perform parking duties & support mail delivery work;
d) To perform simple clerical work & complete vehicle usage report (incl. data-input with PDA); and
e) To undertake duties assigned by seniors.
(Note: Required to work in any regions in Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories; Required to wear uniform and work outdoors; the normal hours of work are 48 hours gross per week (6 days per week, and 8 hours per day, including one-hour meal break). Depending on the operational needs of the Department, the driver is required to work on Sundays and/or public holidays. The driver is also required to work in irregular hours and overtime, which involves working shifts and overnight. The post and working hours would be assigned for the individual drivers by Hongkong Post depending on the operational needs and the drivers are required to perform duty in accordance with the post and working hours as assigned by Hongkong Post.)
Terms of Appointment:
a) Contract duration: One year
b) Subject to operational needs and employees' performance, employees may have opportunity for contract renewal after completion of first contract.
c) 10% contract-end gratuity will be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract (inclusive of Hongkong Post's MPF contributions)
