Candidates should -
(a) have a Hong Kong bachelor’s degree, or equivalent;
(b) proficiency in statistics or qualitative analysis, good communication skills and very effective report writing skills;
(c) with 3 years or above working experience in a managerial post or delivering customer service preferred.
(1) To assist in the implementation of the Employment Assistance Projects under the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance Scheme;
(2) To assist in monitoring performance of NGOs and advise on continuous improvements at sites;
(3) To make analysis on NGO's statistical returns on their output/outcome;
(4) To provide secretarial support to the Project Selection Committee including screening of applications, preparing summaries, drafting correspondence, etc.;
(5) To assist in liaison with the staff of NGOs and SWD; and
(6) To perform other duties assigned by senior officers.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidate(s) will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for 6 to 12 months. The offer of further appointment beyond the existing contract is subject to operational needs and satisfactory performance and conduct of the candidate.
The benefits in respect of rest days, statutory holidays, annual leave, maternity leave or paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance and confirmed at the time of the offer of appointment.
(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(f) It is Government policy to place people with a disability in appropriate jobs wherever possible. If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written examination without being subject to any further shortlisting criteria.
(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. Applications must be made on the forms “Application Form for Employment with the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region” [G.F.340 (Rev.3/2013)], which are obtainable from Public Enquiry Service Centre of District Offices, Home Affairs Department or Job Centers of the Employment Services Division, Labour Department. The application form can also be downloaded from the Civil Service Bureau's website (http://www.csb.gov.hk). Candidates should provide a detailed account of their academic attainment and work experience in the application forms. The information should include –
(a) gradings of all subjects taken in public examinations from secondary education onwards; and
(b) employment records with detailed description of duties.

Please state "Application for Contract Project Managing Officer" on the envelope. Applications which are incomplete, late and applications submitted by fax or e-mail will not be considered. Candidates who are selected for interview will normally receive an invitation in about six to eight weeks from the closing date for application.
