(a) A degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; (b) Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (See Note) (c) Familiar with computer software application including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese Input Method 倉頡／速成.
For appointment purpose, "Grade E" in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to "Level 2" respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
(a) to assist in the organization, monitoring and evaluation of community involvement campaigns and projects; (b) to provide administrative support for the daily operation of District Council; (c) to provide administrative support for the Committees/Working Groups under District Council; and (d) other duties as and when required.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms.
(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise. (g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. Completed application forms together with photocopies of academic certificates and employment proofs should reach Tuen Mun District Office, 2/F, Tuen Mun Government Offices, 1 Tuen Hi Road, Tuen Mun, on or before 6 p.m. of the closing date. For submission by post, the deadline is based on the stamp chop date. Please specify on the envelope “Application for Executive Assistant (District Council)”. Late applications or applications which are incomplete or without the relevant supporting documents will not be considered. Applicants who are not invited for interview within eight weeks from the closing date may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
