Candidates should have: (a) a degree from a local university, or equivalent; (b) at least 1 year's post qualification full-time work experience in management or related field; and (c) Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [see Note].
'Grade C’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 3’ in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
Mainly deployed to perform general administration and management work such as resources management, systems and records management, project planning, committee work, collection and analysis of statistical information, compilation of reports, etc.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for 12 months. The offer of further appointment beyond the existing contract is subject to the service need and the satisfactory performance and conduct of the appointee. The successful candidates may be required to work overtime and irregular hours, on shift and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
(1) The benefits in respect of rest days, statutory holidays, annual leave, maternity/paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.
(2) The appointees will be subject to the provisions of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance and will be required to make employee's contributions to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) Scheme. A gratuity may be granted if the contract is satisfactorily completed with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, when added to the Government's contributions to the MPF Scheme, will be equivalent to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.

(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications.
