Project Officer II (Arts Education) (EDB/CDI/009/15)

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree majoring or minoring in Music/ Visual Arts, or equivalent; (b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [See Note]; (c) Preferably possess one year's relevant post-degree experience in arts resource / project development, teaching or other education work; and (d) Proficient in using computer applications including word-processing, spread-sheet and presentation software, Chinese input and the Internet.
For appointment purpose, 'Grade C' and 'Grade E' in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to 'Level 3' and 'Level 2' respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
(a) To assist in researching and compiling materials for the development of the curriculum resources related to the arts; (b) To assist in collecting and compiling data, and provide administrative support to projects related to the learning of the arts; (c) To assist in the production of learning and teaching materials; (d) To assist in organising teacher professional development programmes; and (e) To assist in performing administrative duties related to the day-to-day operation of the Arts Education Section.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidates will be employes on non-civil service contract terms for 1 year.
14 days annual leave and full pay sickness allowance whereas rest days, statutory holidays(or substituted holidays), maternity leave, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.
