Candidates should have:-
(a)(i) a Hong Kong degree in IT/Computer subjects or equivalent, with at least 2 years relevant IT experience; OR (ii) a Higher Diploma in IT/Computer subjects or equivalent, with at least 4 years relevant IT experience; and
(b) at least 2 years experience in system development using Oracle database (version 10g or above), Java and SQL; and
Mainly responsible for system analysis and design, program development, system testing, implementation, maintenance, problem solving, documentation, quality assurance and other activities of the system development life cycle. Successful candidates may be required to perform any other system support duties as required.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for 12 months.
Upon satisfactory completion of the contract, the appointee may be granted a gratuity for the period of the service. Such gratuity, plus any contribution by the Government to an MPF scheme required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(f) It is Government policy to place people with a disability in appropriate jobs wherever possible. If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written examination without being subject to any further shortlisting criteria.
(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications.
