(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree or equivalent;
(b) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 [Note] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
(c) A minimum of 2 years' post-degree full-time working experience at management level;
(d) Proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English;
(e) Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
(f) Proficient in common computer applications (including word-processing, Chinese input, Excel and PowerPoint); and
(g) Preference will be given to those with experience in project management and committee work, as well as working experience in public sector organizations.
For appointment purpose, 'Grade C' and 'Grade E' in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to 'Level 3' and 'Level 2' respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
(a) To handle enquiries from schools on general procurement, contract administration and financial matters on subscription of WiFi services;
(b) To provide secretarial support to ad hoc meetings with School Councils, school sponsoring bodies, IT associations, internal working groups, etc. to discuss issues of common concern in the WiFi infrastructure enhancement exercise;
(c) To provide logistical support for the organization of briefing sessions for stakeholders in the school and IT sectors regularly to update them the latest progress of the WiFi infrastructure enhancement exercise as well as other initiatives under the Fourth Strategy on Information Technology in Education (ITE4);
(d) To provide administrative support to professional staff in the procurement and implementation exercises of measures under the ITE4;
(e) To assist in planning, organizing and administering professional development programmes (PDPs) for school heads and teachers; and to handle enquiries from schools heads and teachers in respect of the PDPs; and
(f) To perform any other related duties as assigned.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms up to 31 August 2016.
(a)14 days annual leave and full pay sickness allowance whereas rest days, statutory holidays, maternity leave, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance. (b) A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
