(1) 綜合招聘考試的中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」，並以「二級」為最高等級。 (2) 香港高級程度會考英語運用科「C」級或以上和「D」級成績（或同等成績）分別會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」和「一級」成績。香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科「C」級或以上和「D」級的成績則分別會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」和「一級」成績。 (3) 在International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上，並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績的人士，在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內，其IELTS成績可獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。IELTS考試成績必須在職位開始接受申請的首天（即2015年1月27日）仍然有效。 (4) 具備在社會福利界統籌計劃推行工作、處理推廣、宣傳或營辦資助計劃的工作經驗的申請人將獲優先考慮。
(a) have a recognised Hong Kong degree, or equivalent, in social work, marketing, or related disciplines; (b) have at least 5 years' post-qualification experience in social welfare services, public relation, marketing or related fields; (c) have obtained 'Level 1' or above in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE); or equivalent; [see note (1) to (3)]; (d) have good writing skills in English and Chinese; (e) be able to speak fluent Cantonese and English; and (f) have good command in applying various computer programmes, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.

(1) The results of the Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE) papers of the CRE are classified as 'Level 2', 'Level 1' or 'Fail', with 'Level 2' being the highest. (2) Grade 'C' or above and Grade 'D' in Use of English of the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE), or equivalent, are accepted as equivalent to 'Level 2' and 'Level 1' results respectively in the UE paper of the CRE. Grade 'C' or above and Grade 'D' in Chinese Language and Culture or Chinese Language and Literature of the HKALE are accepted as equivalent to 'Level 2' and 'Level 1' results respectively in the UC paper of the CRE. (3) An overall band of 6.5 or above with no subtest score below band 6 obtained in the same sitting in the Academic Module of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) within the two-year validity period of the test is accepted as equivalent to 'Level 2' in the UE paper of the CRE. The IELTS test result must be valid on the starting day of the application period, i.e. 27 January 2015. (4) Candidates who have working experience in project administration, promotion, publicity or operation of funding schemes in social welfare sector will have an advantage.
An Assistant Project Manager is mainly deployed on –
(a) vetting and processing project proposals and preparing tender documents; (b) assisting in processing licence applications and funding applications, promoting and launching projects under the public fund or a matching fund for business and welfare sectors; (c) assisting in collating and compiling statistical returns, drafting papers, answering enquiries related to the licence applications, funding applications and projects; (d) providing secretarial support to committees / working groups, etc., monitoring the implementation of projects through perusing reports and conducting site visits / meetings, furnishing assessment reports and performing evaluative studies; (e) assisting in tender-related, contract management and financial management duties; and (f) assisting in conducting user acceptance tests and developing training plans of computer projects; managing and maintaining the operation of website and the data management systems.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for 12 months. The offer of further appointment beyond the existing contract is subject to the service need and the satisfactory performance and conduct of the candidate. Staff may be required to work irregular hours, on shift and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
(1) The benefits in respect of rest days, statutory holidays, annual leave, maternity leave or paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance. (2) The appointees will be subject to the provisions of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance and will be required to make employee's contributions to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) Scheme. A gratuity may be granted if the contract is satisfactorily completed with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, when added to the Government’s contributions to the MPF Scheme, will be equivalent to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.

Completed forms should reach the enquiry address on or before the closing date for application (the postmark date on the envelope will be regarded as the date of application).
Candidates should provide a detailed account of their academic attainment and relevant working experience (including detailed description of duties) in their applications. Please specify on the envelope 'Application for the post of Contract Assistant Project Manager'.
