Candidates should have – (a) a medical qualification registrable in Hong Kong under the Medical Registration Ordinance, Cap. 161; (b) a good command of spoken and written Chinese and English; and (c) be able to speak fluent Cantonese.
Mainly deployed to provide health promotion and disease prevention services at the Maternal and Child Health Centres / Woman Health Centres.
[Remark: The operating hours of the Maternal and Child Health Centres/ Woman Health Centres fall between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Monday to Friday, and between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on the 2nd and 4th non-public holiday Saturdays of each month. Successful candidates will be assigned to work in appropriate time slots during the operating hours. Successful candidates may also be required to work at remote locations.]
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms on part-time basis up to 12 months. Renewal of contract will be subject to the service need of the Department and the performance of the candidate.
Rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), annual leave, maternity leave and sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions in the Employment Ordinance.

The application period for the post of Part-time Contract Doctor (Family Health Service) is from 20 February 2015 to 12 March 2015. Applicants should state in detail in the application form their relevant experience, qualifications and registration number in the Medical Council of Hong Kong under the Medical Registration Ordinance Cap.161. Completed application forms, together with copies of documentary proof of possession of the required academic qualifications (e.g. transcripts, certificates, etc.), should reach the enquiry address indicated on or before the closing date for application.
