HK$35,000 - HK$38,000 per month, subject to the length of successful candidate’s relevant experience and qualification. [General Note (c)]
Candidates should :
(a) have an accredited higher diploma from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates who have a bachelor degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent [General Note (g)];
(b) have 5 years’ post-qualification experience in working as a personal assistant/secretary or in public relations field; and
(c) have a good command of Chinese and English, both written and spoken, and computer word processing; and ability to speak Putonghua is an advantage.
Major duties are:
(a) to assist in planning and organising banquets and social functions including guest reception and liaison, etc.;
(b) to provide secretarial and executive support to the Chief Executive’s spouse; and
(c) to provide general administrative and management support.
Terms of Appointment:
The successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for 2 years. A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the full contract period with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. The gratuity payable for the contract will be the sum which, when added to the Government's contribution to the Mandatory Provident Fund scheme, equals to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
(Note: The successful candidate is required to (a) work overtime and irregular hours including evenings, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays; (b) be deployed to work in Government House, Fanling Lodge and any other places as required; and (c) to perform outdoor duties as required.)
