Video News Assistant (News Shooting) (Part-time)
$43 per hour
Candidates should – (a) be pursuing a Degree/ accredited Higher Diploma/ accredited Associate Degree from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent; AND (b) possess basic knowledge in film shooting and editing.
(a) Candidates may be required to sit for a trade test; (b) Work for 9 hours per day (from Monday to Sunday, normally from 7am to 3pm to 12mn, or irregular hours as and when required); (c) ‘Grade C’ and ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 3’ and ‘Level 2’ respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the HKDSE.
(a) On site news footage shooting; AND (b) on site news video or photo editing and delivering.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for not more than 12 months. Working time per week will be less than 18 hours.
(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise. (g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. Completed forms with “Job Title” clearly stated should be sent to the address below on or before the closing date for application. Candidates who are selected for interview will normally receive an invitation in about 6 weeks from the closing date for application. Those who are not invited for interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
