Candidates should have –
(a) a degree from a Hong Kong university or equivalent. Applicant not holding a bachelor’s degree may also apply subject to the requirement set out in (b)(ii) below;
(b) proven abilities in handling administration work, and
(i) for degree holding applicant, at least 15 years of experience in administration work (experience in handling tendering and large-scale procurement exercise in the Government an advantage);
(ii) for non-degree holding applicant, at least 20 years of experience in administration work (experience in handling tendering and large-scale procurement exercise in the Government an advantage);
(c) in-depth knowledge of the operation of the Government and/or the public sector;
(d) a strong command of both Chinese and English; and
(e) good interpersonal and communication skills.
(a) To coordinate the preparation for a tender exercise for service required by the Working Family Allowance Office;
(b) To convene regular and ad hoc meetings with stakeholders concerned in association with the service required;
(c) To monitor the performance of the consultant awarded the contract for the service; and
(d) To provide comment on the deliverables of the consultant.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms on a part-time basis for a period of 6 months. The actual number of working days required depends on the work demand of the office. It is expected that the working day will not be more than 3 days per week.
(a) An annual leave of 7 days per year of service will be offered on pro rata basis; and
(b) Rest days, public holidays, maternity/paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.
(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

In these circumstances, only shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend recruitment examination and/or interview.
(f) It is Government policy to place people with a disability in appropriate jobs wherever possible. If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written examination without being subject to any further shortlisting criteria.
(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. They should submit copies of their official transcripts and certificates by mail to the Enquiry Address.
