$54,265 - $68,250 per month depending on qualification and experience
(a) have a Hong Kong bachelor’s degree, or equivalent. Disciplines related to Communications, Marketing or Journalism preferred;
(b) have at least 5 years of full time post-qualification work experience in public relations, community engagement, or social media marketing in a sizeable organization, with the use of mobile applications, digital platforms and/or social media platforms;
(c) have attained Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (See Note 1);
(d) be proficient in both written and spoken Chinese and English;
(e) be proficient in software applications including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge on software applications in mobile applications and website design and editing, experience in the design, development and maintenance of mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms, the design and editing of websites, as well as the collection and definition of user requirements, the planning and execution of user acceptance test, and the preparation of user procedure manual considered an advantage; and
(f) have good presentational and interpersonal skills.
(1) For the purpose of appointment of Non-Civil Service Contract Staff, 'Grade C' and 'Grade E' in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to 'Level 3' and 'Level 2' respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
(2) Shortlisted candidates will be required to sit for a written test.
(3) The post is open to male and female.
The main duties of the job are:
(a) to manage the design, development and maintenance of mobile applications and social media platforms;
(b) to manage the planning and execution of website design and editing;
(c) to collaborate with internal teams and other departments and provide supervision to subordinate(s); and
(d) to assist in other duties in taking forward publicity matters.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for a period of 24 months (including a 3-month probationary period).
A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance (Cap. 485), will be equal to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
The employee is entitled to 12 days paid annual leave. The eligibility of the employee for rest days, statutory holidays, maternity/paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, would be in line with the provisions in the Employment Ordinance (Cap. 57).

(f) It is Government policy to place people with a disability in appropriate jobs wherever possible. If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written test without being subject to further shortlisting.
(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications.
