$54 per hour. $57.9 per hour for holders of certificate to operate fork-lift trucks (counterbalance or reach type).
Applicants should : (i) have attained primary 6 standard or equivalent; (ii) have two years of working experience; (iii) be able to speak fluent Cantonese, read and write simple Chinese and English; and (iv) be able to transport heavy items independently. Having working experience in a printing workshop will be an advantage.
(1) The applicant must pass a trade test. (2) Holders of certificate to operate fork-lift trucks should send a photocopy of his/her certificate together with his/her application. (3) Salary is not paid for meal break. (4) Working hours and the number of hours of work in each shift are subject to prevailing operational needs and are not fixed. No guarantee on the minimum hours of work in any given period. Working hours may be during the day or overnight on weekdays (Monday to Friday), weekends and public holidays, etc. (5) There is no specific closing date for application for this position, but applications will close without further announcement when all the vacancies are filled.
Responsible for delivering and packing of printed materials and related manual labour work.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for twelve months. Subject to continual operational needs, employees with good performance may have opportunity for contract renewal after completion of first contract.
