入職條件: (a) 持有本港頒授有關科學教育、科技教育或個人、社會及人文教育的學士學位,或具備同等學歷[見註(ii)];
(b) 持有本港專上教育機構所頒授的教育證書,或具備同等學歷;
(c) 符合語文能力要求,即在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷[中文運用及英文運用]中取得「二級」成績,或具備同等成績[見註(iii)];
(d) 於取得有關學歷後,具有不少於6年在小學/中學教學、參與課程發展及評核工作的經驗[見註(iv)];
(e) 申請人如了解和熟悉小學科學教育,可獲優先考慮;以及
(f) 申請人或須於遴選面試當天參加筆試。
註: (i) 課程主任[校本課程發展(小學)-常識]職位的申請日期為2015年1月23日(星期五)至2015年2月6日(星期五)。
(ii) 申請人須在申請表上清楚註明所修讀學位課程的主修和副修科目。申請人如有其他學歷(例如碩士或博士學位),亦須一併在申請表上列明。
(iii) 綜合招聘考試中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」,並以「二級」為最高等級。香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科「C」級或以上及「D」級的成績,分別會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」和「一級」成績。香港高級程度會考英語運用科「C」級或以上及「D」級的成績(或同等成績),則分別會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」和「一級」成績。在 International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上,並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的人士,在 IELTS 考試成績的兩年有效期內,會視為已符合課程主任職位的英語能力要求。IELTS 考試成績必須在上述職位開始接受申請的首天(即2015年1月23日)仍然有效。
(iv) 申請人須述明於取得有關學歷後所具備的相關工作經驗及性質。
(v) 為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣,所有教育局課程主任職位的招聘,均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。申請人在基本法測試(學位/專業程度職系)的成績,會用作評核是否適合獲聘的其中一個考慮因素,但不會影響其申請教育局課程主任職位的資格。原則上,申請人的學歷、經驗和才能仍然是考慮其是否適合獲聘的主要因素。
職責: (a) 為小學提供有關常識科校本課程發展的到校支援服務,以協助學校推行各項教育政策措施;
(b) 開發有效的教與學評估策略及有助提高學生學習成效的課程資源;
(c) 發展和提升學校課程領導的專業能力,並舉辦專業發展活動,以促進校本課程發展;
(d) 推廣學校在校本課程發展及支援服務方面的良好做法;
(e) 協助學校培養驗證為本的文化,優化課程策劃、教學、學習及評估方面的發展;以及
(f) 協助處理組內的行政工作,以確保該組運作暢順。
聘用條款: 獲錄用者將會按非公務員合約條件聘用,合約期2.5年。
福利: (a) 根據《僱傭條例》的規定,按適當情況,可享有18天年假、休息日、法定假日(或代替假日)、產假及疾病津貼。(b)獲錄用者如圓滿履行合約、而期間一直表現理想兼行為良好,可獲發約滿酬金。該筆酬金,連同政府根據《強制性公積金計劃條例》的規定為受聘人向強制性公積金計劃所作的供款,將相等於合約期所得底薪總額的15%。(c)其他附帶福利包括醫療及牙科診療福利,在適當情況下,更可獲得房屋福利。

Job Title: Curriculum Officer [School-based Curriculum Development (Primary) – General Studies] (EDB/QASBS/019/15)
Salary: $60,690 per month
Entry Requirements: (a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree with subject related to Science Education, Technology Education or Personal, Social and Humanities Education, or equivalent [See Note (ii)];
(b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent;
(c) Met the language proficiency requirement of 'Level 2' results in the two language papers [Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE)] in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [See Note (iii)];
(d) At least 6 years' relevant post-qualification experience in teaching, curriculum development and assessment in primary/secondary schools [See Note (iv)];
(e) Good knowledge and familiar with Science Education in primary schools would be an advantage; and
(f) Candidates may be required to take a written test on the day of selection interview.
Note: (i) The application period for the post of Curriculum Officer [School-based Curriculum Development (Primary)-General Studies] is from 23 January 2015 (Friday) to 6 February 2015 (Friday).
(ii) Candidates should mark clearly on their application forms the major and minor subjects studied in their degree courses. Candidates possessing additional qualifications (e.g. a higher degree in a relevant subject) should include details in their applications.
(iii) Candidates' results in the Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE) papers of CRE are classified as 'Level 2', 'Level 1' or 'Fail', with 'Level 2' being the highest. Grade 'C' or above and Grade 'D' in Chinese Language and Culture or Chinese Language and Literature of the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) are accepted as equivalent to 'Level 2' and 'Level 1' results respectively in the UC paper of the CRE. Grade 'C' or above and Grade 'D' in Use of English of the HKALE, or equivalent, are accepted as equivalent to 'Level 2' and 'Level 1' results respectively in the UE paper of the CRE. Applicants with an overall band of 6.5 or above with no subtest score below band 6 obtained in the same sitting in the Academic Module of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) within the two-year validity period of the test are considered as having met the English language proficiency requirement of the Curriculum Officer post. The IELTS test result must be valid on the starting day of the application period, i.e. 23 January 2015.
(iv) Candidates should state the nature and relevancy of the post-qualification experience.
(v) For the purpose of heightening public awareness of the Basic Law (BL) and promoting a culture of learning of the BL in the community, assessment of BL knowledge will be included in the recruitment for all Curriculum Officer jobs in Education Bureau. Results of the BL test for degree/professional grades will be one of the considerations to assess the suitability of a candidate but will not affect his/her eligibility for applying for Curriculum Officer jobs in Education Bureau. As a general principle, the main consideration for suitability for appointment remains a candidate's qualification, experience and calibre.
Duties: (a) To render on-site support services on school-based curriculum development in General Studies to facilitate schools in implementing education policy initiatives;
(b) To develop effective teaching and learning, assessment strategies as well as curriculum resources in enhancing student learning;
(c) To develop and enhance the professional capacities of curriculum leaders; and organize professional development activities to facilitate school-based curriculum development;
(d) To disseminate good practices of schools in school-based curriculum development and support services;
(e) To facilitate the cultivation of evidence-informed practices to generate contextual knowledge in school-based curriculum planning, teaching, learning and assessment; and
(f) To assist in the administration and ensure the smooth operation of the Section.
Terms of Appointment: Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 2.5 years.
Fringe Benefits (a) 18 days annual leave and full pay sickness allowance whereas rest days, statutory holidays(or substituted holidays), maternity leave, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance. (b) A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. (c) Other fringe benefits include medical and dental benefits and, where appropriate, housing benefits.
