(1) be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
(2) be full-time students in post-secondary institutions, majoring in Computer Science or related disciplines;
(3) have system design and database programming knowledge; and
(4) be fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English.
(1) To assist in managing data in several information systems; and
(2) to take up any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Terms of Appointment:
Summer intern is engaged under non-civil service appointment. Employment period will be about two months from around the end of June to the end of August 2015. He/She is normally required to work 44 hours per week.
Rest day, statutory holidays, general holidays, sickness days, where appropriate, will be granted to the successful candidate in line with the provisions in the Employment Ordinance. The Mandatory Provident Fund Scheme Ordinance (Cap. 485) will apply to the summer intern.

(f) It is Government policy to place people with a disability in appropriate jobs wherever possible. If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written examination without being subject to any further shortlisting criteria.
(g) Candidates who have not received an invitation for an interview by the end of June 2015 may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.

(a) Hong Kong students studying in local post-secondary institutions should apply through the Student Affairs Offices/Career Centres of their respective institutions. Students are advised to note the deadlines set by the respective institutions.
