(a) be currently enrolled in full-time degree courses (or equivalent), preferably in the stream of business, journalism, public relations of fashion related disciplines;
(b) have attained ‘Level 3’ or above in English language and Chinese Language in the HKDSEE or the HKCEE, or equivalent;
(c) be proficient in English and Chinese, additional languages is an advantage;
(d) have good English and Chinese typing skills;
(e) be proficient in the application of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
(f) Experience in database marketing or event organization is welcomed.
(a) To assist with research and lead generation of consumer products companies (such as toys, fashion, jewellery and timepieces, cosmetics, sourcing, and textiles) from around the world;
(b) To provide research support for the retail scene in Hong Kong, including media monitoring desktop information gathering of brands and retailers;
(c) To gather research and findings on the tourist spending habits and the rise of e-commerce in Asia;
(d) To assist with research on industry trends and updating of marketing materials, such as website and leaflets.
Terms of Appointment:
Except otherwise provided in the appointment letter, rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), maternity leave, where appropriate, will be granted mainly in line with the provisions of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance. The appointees will not be civil servants and will not be eligible for posting, promotion or transfer to any posts in the civil service.
