(1) be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
(2) be studying degree programme in the field of social science offered by local/non-local accredited post-secondary institutions;
(3) obtain Level 3 (Note) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
(4) be proficient in using internet for desk research;
(5) have good knowledge in PC, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing and webpage design; and
(6) be fluent in both Cantonese and English.
“Grade C” in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 3” respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
(1) To assist in research work on labour issues and relevant compilation and analysis work;
(2) To provide logistical support in organising a consultation exercise and publicity work; and
(3) To assist in handling public enquiries.
Terms of Appointment:
Summer intern is engaged under non-civil service appointment. The employment period will last between end-June and early September 2015 for some two months. He/She is normally required to work 44 hours per week.
Rest day, statutory holidays, general holidays, sickness days, where appropriate, will be granted to the successful candidate in line with the provisions in the Employment Ordinance. The Mandatory Provident Fund Scheme Ordinance (Cap. 485) will apply to the summer intern.

(f) It is Government policy to place people with a disability in appropriate jobs wherever possible. If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written examination without being subject to any further shortlisting criteria.
(g) Candidates who have not received an invitation for an interview by early July 2015 may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
