(a) Completion of Form 3;
(b) Able to speak fluent Cantonese;
(c) Able to read and write simple Chinese and English; and
(d) Able to perform simple Chinese and English word processing.
Candidates to be invited for selection interview may be required to participate in a Chinese and English word processing proficiency test
(a) To perform receipt and dispatch of documents;
(b) To man the reception counter, including answering simple telephone enquiries, acknowledging receipt of documents and receiving visitors;
(c) To undertake miscellaneous manual work such as moving furniture and office equipment;
(d) To perform simple office duties such as photocopying, faxing and binding of documents, office equipment maintenance, sorting of materials, opening and locking of rooms, serving tea for meetings and visitors and cleansing work;
(e) To perform outdoor work; and
(f) To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Terms of Appointment:
(a) Candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms.
(b) A contract to 31.3.2016 will be offered to successful candidate.
(c) Appointee is required to work 45 hours (excluding meal break) net per week and work irregular and outside normal office hours including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
(d) If necessary, the appointee may have to work at the Home Affairs Department or other District Offices.
Rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), annual leave, maternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.
(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

In these circumstances, only shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend recruitment examination and/or interview.
(f) It is Government policy to place people with a disability in appropriate jobs wherever possible. If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written examination without being subject to any further shortlisting criteria.
(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications.
