(a) a Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent (holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. (b) 3 years' or above work experience, preferably in the local public sector or higher education field;
(c) good knowledge of the local community and the higher education sector;
(d) ample experience in organising extra-curricular activities during undergraduate study;
(e) an outgoing personality with good communication and interpersonal skills;
(f) strong organisational ability and capacity to cope well under pressure;
(g) good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and fluent Putonghua; and
(h) excellent knowledge of social media platforms and conversant application of computer software like word-processing, spreadsheet and presentation software and data analysis tools.

(a) Implementing projects and activities in cooperation with the higher education sector, including following up on the logistics and promotion of these projects and activities;
(b) Maintaining effective communication with relevant stakeholders in the higher education sector;
(c) Undertaking administrative support duties for the said projects and activities like conducting background research, and preparing fact sheets and information folders, etc.;
(d) Providing secretariat support to various working groups and committees formed under the Higher Education Division, including making logistical arrangements for meetings, managing relevant consultancy studies / pilot projects, preparing discussion / information papers and notes of meetings, and overseeing necessary follow-up actions; and
(e) Undertaking any other duties as and when required.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 2 years.
(a) 14 days annual leave and full pay sickness allowance whereas rest days, statutory holidays(or substituted holidays), maternity leave, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance. (b) A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
