Candidates should be (i) full-time post-secondary students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree / accredited Higher Diploma / accredited Associate Degree in Journalism / Media & related studies; or Multimedia & related studies; or Social Science / Arts & related studies; or Marketing / Advertising & related studies; (ii) DV filming and editing skills will have an advantage; (iii) Basic knowledge in advertising; (iv) Basic knowledge in TV production; (v) Good presentation and communication skills; and (vi) Must submit recommendation letter from concerned institution.
(i) To create graphic images or animation to present the concept and purpose that are assigned; (ii) To edit video clips using Final Cut Pro or Avid; (iii) To composite promotional clips with special visual effects; and (iv) To coordinate and follow location filming for promotion.
Terms of Appointment:
Successful candidates will be appointed on for near three-month period, probably starting from July 2015, under the summer internship programme.
Except otherwise provided, your eligibility for rest day, statutory holiday, paid leave, sickness days and sickness allowances are generally in line with those in the Employment Ordinance (Cap. 57).
(A) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise. In these circumstances, only shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend interview and/or trade test. (F) The number of interns required may be subject to change depending on a host of factors including the prevailing policy from time to time. (G) It is Government policy to place people with a disability in appropriate jobs wherever possible. If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the interview / trade test without being subject to any further shortlisting criteria. (H) Final-year students will be considered only if the internship is required by their institution for the completion of the programmes/courses the student is pursuing. (I) Candidates under this scheme will be regarded ‘student interns’ or ‘work experience students during a period of exempt student employment’, as defined in the Minimum Wage Ordinance and exempt from the minimum wage requirements. Candidates should comply with the following -
● they must be students either pursuing a full-time accredited post-secondary programme (degree, associate degree or higher diploma, etc.) provided by a local education institution specified in Schedule 1 to the Minimum Wage Ordinance or pursuing a full-time education programme for a non-local academic qualification at degree level.
● if as a ‘student intern’ – the candidate’s application should be endorsed by the education institution and the work being applied for should be a compulsory or elective component of the requirements of the programme being provided by the institution to the applicant; or
● if as a ‘work experience student’ – the applicant should be under the age of 26 years at the beginning of the employment, and should provide a statutory declaration verifying that he/she has not commenced another exempt student employment period within the same calendar year.
Successful applicants have to provide documentary proof for the above.

Completed forms should be sent to the address below on or before the closing date for application. Students who are selected for interview / trade test will normally receive an invitation within 6 weeks from the closing date for application. Those who are not invited for interview / trade test may assume that their applications are unsuccessful. (b) An applicant of the internship programme can apply for a maximum of 3 posts. You should state your priority of preference on the top of the application form. You only need to fill in one set of application form. The job reference number(s) and job title(s) concerned should be clearly marked on the top of the application form.
